a picture means a thousand words

An image that I came across recently, mother and child, simple yet powerful image that I saw from instagram

I saw the picture and it made me smile, drawing it out pouring out my feelings towards an image made my heart melt. ah. Amazing way to end a friday night.

Happy weekend!

Love my copic markers. I wish they were cheaper :P

Observe, Practice and Draw!

I find that when I practise drawing yoga postures, it is the best when I am practising yoga myself.
I feel where I put my weight towards, I feel my stretches, my muscles pull, I pay attention never to put stress to my knees. And then after interacting with human, I hide at home looking at many and many yoga postures from online yoga instructors. Instagram is amazing.

Pretty happy with this one. This one is inspired by yoga teacher elias falla

And of course, I'm very honoured to have him use my illustration on his profile:)

Illustration of Dancer's pose

The most beautiful standing pose I find, I like staring in the mirror watching everyone in the studio grounding one of their legs while the other one lifts and disappears in the mirror. Such a powerful pose,  it makes me feeling like I'm in control.

Found a site with great instructions for yoga poses: Dancer's pose instructions

Just Dance

I think back bends are beautiful, the curve of the spine, the showing of ribs under the skin, strong legs, buttocks up, eyes to the ceiling, chin up in the air....
